The Lund Protein Production Platform (LP3) is a center at Lund University (LU) that offers services and equipment in the areas of recombinant protein production, protein crystallization, biophysical characterization, and structure determination. LP3 serves as the LU node of the national research infrastructure Protein Production Sweden and is also a part of the MAX IV laboratory X-ray-aided fragment screening platform. LP3 provides labs and services for, and collaborates with, the biological deuteration and crystallization segment of the Deuteration and Macromolecular Crystallization platform of the European Spallation Source (ESS). The labs managed by LP3 naturally serve as a meeting point for these four platforms, collectively catering to over 100 users per year.
